Los Padres National Forest Keeps Coronavirus Camping Restrictions In Place For Memorial Day Weekend

The Los Padres National Forest has announced that some of its most popular campgrounds are going to remain closed through Memorial Day weekend.

The campgrounds are set to stay closed at least through June 1st to comply with state and local health guidelines.

Visitors can enter the National Forest, but restrooms are closed. Also, there are no trash removal services, so people are being asked to bring out their trash with them when they leave.

The Forest Service is also reminding people to follow social distancing, and if an area is crowded, to try other spots.
