Los Angeles Rams To Have Training Facilities, Corporate Headquarters In Conejo Valley

There’s excitement in the Conejo Valley over word that Southern California’s new pro football team, the Los Angeles Rams, will be based in the area for the next few years, while their stadium is being built.

The Rams will hold the spring and in-season training workouts in Thousand Oaks, and their corporate office will be in Agoura Hills.

The team has inked deals to practice in Thousand Oaks, and to have their team headquarters in Agoura Hills while their new stadium is being built in Inglewood.

The Rams signed a deal with California Lutheran University to build two practice fields, a parking lot, and to add 50,000 square feet of temporary office space next to CLU’s existing athletic fields on its north campus.  The CLU facilities will be used for training during the season, as well as during the spring.   Once the Rams build a permanent training facility, the temporary buildings will be removed, and the fields and parking areas will be turned over to the university.  It's expected the Rams will use the CLU site for at least two years, but it could extend as long as five years.

It's expected the Rams will hold their summer training camp in Orange County.
