Large Crowd On Hand For Vigil To Remember Victims Of Channel Islands Boat Fire

People exchange hugs, and tears flow at a Friday night vigil to remember victims of Monday's Channel Islands boat fire

More than  500 people were on hand for a Friday night vigil to remember the victims of the Labor Day boat fire in the Channel Islands which killed 34 people.

Religious and government leaders joined with members of the community for the event in Chase Palm Park.  Tears flowed as people talked about the tragedy.

Three South Coast residents are now known to be among the victims.  The names of 22 of the 34 victims have been released.  33 bodies have been recovered, and the search continues for the 34th.
