It's Not Much, But First Rain Of Season Arrives On Central, South Coasts

A storm system on the Central and South Coasts has done exactly what was expected, which is very little. But, some areas did get their first rainfall of the season. The heaviest rainfall was in Ventura County’s mountains, where Hungry Valley received nearly six tenths of an inch of rain. But, most coastal and inland areas had less than a tenth of an inch of rainfall.

There’s still a chance of more showers in the forecast up until around midday Thursday. The forecast for rain was so light that no warnings were issued for brush fire burn areas on the Central and South Coasts.
