Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives and federal undercover agents say they’ve made the 38th, and final arrest in connection with a years long investigation into a drugs and weapons ring.

Four local and federal agencies were involved into what they call a complex case which led to the seizure of 45 weapons, 11,000 rounds of ammunition, and more than three quarters of a million dollars in illegal drugs.

The investigators say the operation was involved in selling drugs like heroin and methamphetamine as well as guns in the Santa Maria Valley.

Some of the arrests took place months ago, but the names and charges weren’t released earlier because some people were still being sought.
