The bodies of a man and a woman have been discovered inside a home in Oxnard, and detectives are investigating the case as a homicide.
Oxnard Police Sergeant Bakari Myers says officers were called to the 5400 block of Barrymore Drive just before 5 p.m. yesterday.
"Upon arrival, officers discovered a male and a female deceased from apparent gunshot wounds," he said.
The victims have been identified as 35-year-old Sinia Lemus and 47-year-old Saul Lemus. Both are Oxnard residents. The investigation is on-going.
