Going To Fly? Don't Forget Your Mask, Santa Barbara Airport Officials Say

Officials with a South Coast airport say if you are planning to fly, don’t forget your mask.

Travelers will need to wear a mask to enter Santa Barbara Airport’s terminal, and airlines are requiring them for passengers as well.

The TSA has made a change in its rules about liquids, and passengers can now bring up to a 12-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer as a carry-on item.

The airport says it is sanitizing passenger areas regularly, and has made changes in facilities to protect people during the check-in, waiting, and boarding process.

Air travel through the airport was down by about 90% last month due to the coronavirus crisis, but officials are reporting a gradual increase in the number of travelers they are seeing daily.
