A fund set up to help undocumented Ventura County residents impacted by the Thomas Fire has reopened to help Woolsey and Hill Fire victims.
The 805 Undocufund was established to help fire victims ineligible for federal aid because of their immigration status.
In the wake of the Thomas Fire and Montecito debris flow, the fund provided $1.4 million dollars in aid to more than 900 families. Some of those helped had their homes affected.
Others are struggling financially because they lost work because they have jobs in areas liked housekeeping, landscaping, and farming.
The fund is administered through the Ventura County Community Foundation.
