Santa Maria firefighters had to battle multiple blazes at a mobile home park Friday afternoon

Four people are reported dead following a shooting, and fire on the Central Coast. Santa Maria firefighters and police were called to a mobile home complex on the 500 block of West Taylor Street around noon Friday. They found multiple structures burning.

Police are still trying to piece together what happened, but think a man got into an argument with two golfers at an adjacent golf course. Investigators say he apparently got a gun, and went back and shot and killed the golfers.

Police think the man then went back to the mobile home park, where an explosion and fire occurred. Four homes were destroyed or damaged. The names of the victims, and the suspect haven’t been released yet.
