Former President Bill Clinton Pays Visit To South Coast

On the road for his wife former President Bill Clinton made a quick stop in Santa Barbara Tuesday to talk about his wife - Hillary's Campaign and world issues.

Clinton spoke to an invite only group at the Canary Hotel in downtown during lunch.

Those inside included State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, Mayor Helene Schneider, Former Mayor Hal Conklin and Laura Capps - the daughter of Congresswoman Lois Capps. Laura worked in the White House during the Clinton administration.

The former President spoke about the technicalities of the Presidential race and reminded the group that he did not win the nomination until the California Primary Election was held.

Those attending were able to get a few words in afterwards and some pictures before Clinton left for a private evening event.
