Former Los Angeles County Sheriff's Detective Enters Guilty Pleas In Ventura County Molestation Case

A former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detective has entered a guilty plea to a child molestation charge in Ventura County.

Prosecutors say in 2017, Neil David Kimball met a 15 year old girl who reported being the victim of a sexual assault.

They say he befriended the teen, but later sexually assaulted her. Kimball pled guilty to a lewd act with a child and unlawful sexual intercourse. As part of the plea deal, it’s expected the 46 year old man will be sentenced to three years in state prison.
