The Woolsey fire burning November 9th

Firefighters are continuing to close in on containment of the Woolsey brush fire in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, which destroyed more than 830 structures, and damaged more than 240.

The 98.000 acre fire is now 84% contained, with full containment projected for Thanksgiving Day.

The number of personnel working on the fire has dropped by more than half, to about 1800, as the firefighting effort has moved into mopup mode.
