Federal Government Sending $5 Million Dollars In Aid To Fight Homelessness On Central, South Coasts

The Central and South Coasts are getting more than five million dollars in federal funding to fight homelessness. The money is from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Continuum of Care Program.

It’s going to a variety of government and non-profit agencies involved in getting people off the streets.

Ventura County is getting $2.29 million dollars, Santa Barbara County $1.9 million, and San Luis Obispo County $979,000 dollars.
