Detectives are trying to unravel what led to brutal attacks on a father and son in Ventura County. I
t happened at about one a.m. Saturday on Fashion Park Place in Oxnard. Police called to the scene found a 52 year old Oxnard man who had been assaulted with a bat. They learned that the man’s 24 year old son had already been taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds.
None of the injuries were life threatening. Detectives are investigating whether the incident was gang related.
