A Ventura County woman has been arrested for the death of a man she had been dating. Oxnard Police were called to Eliza Court Monday night by reports of a stabbing. They found Ricardo Silva on the ground with a serious shoulder wound.
The 49 year old man was taken to a hospital, but later died from his injuries. Detectives say after talking to witnesses, they found out there had been a confrontation involving Silva, and a woman he had been dating.
They identified Alvina Rodriguez as a suspect in the stabbing. The 46 year old woman was arrested on a voluntary manslaughter charge.
