Coronavirus Numbers Continue To Grow On Central, South Coasts; 823 Cases, 16 Deaths

The number of coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts has now cracked the 800 mark.

There are now 823 confirmed cases in the region.  Ventura County has 365, which is an increase of 15 over the day before.  Santa Barbara County is at 334, up 21 over Tuesday.  And, San Luis Obispo County has 124 cases, four more than Tuesday.

One of the biggest outbreaks in the Tri-Counties is at the federal prison in Lompoc, which now has 68 confirmed cases.

There have been 16 deaths in the region, with 13 in Ventura County, two in Santa Barbara County and one in San Luis Obispo County.

So far, all of the deaths have been among people with pre-existing health conditions.
