Conejo Valley Man On Crusade To Record Histories Of World War II Combat Veterans Before They're Gone

Rishi Sharma of Agoura Hills interviews a World War II veteran from Camarillo as a part of his one-man crusade to capture the stories of those who fought in the war while they're still living. Many of the veterans are now in their 90's.

They’re members of what’s known as “The Greatest Generation."

They are the men and women who rallied during World War Two to help the U.S., and its allies defeat Germany and Japan. But, with most of them now in their 90’s, age is catching up with them, and hundreds are dying daily. An 18 year old Conejo Valley man is on a one man crusade to try to preserve their stories before they are gone.

Rishi Sharma of Agoura Hills has videotaped close to a hundred interviews with World War Two combat veterans, and has turned it into his full-time job.  He feels like he's racing the calendar, with hundreds of the veterans across the country dying every day.  KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story, from Camarillo.
