The Concert Across America filled the Arlington Theater with music fans, all united in the effort to end senseless killings with guns.
The idea was developed in part out of Santa Barbara, with the local chapter of the Coalition Against Gun Violence.
Bob Weiss, an organizer in the Coalition, lost his daughter, Veronica, in the 2014 Isla Vista shooting and stabbing spree. She was a freshman at UC Santa Barbara.
Along with these large-scale music events reaching all the way to White House, Weiss says the public needs to vote for changes to gun and ammunition law.
The performers last night in Santa Barbara included Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald, and Kenny Loggins.
