CHP investigators say a van caused the collision of two school buses in Ventura County Tuesday

CHP investigators now say a van turning into oncoming traffic caused a three vehicle collision in Ventura County involving two school busses. The accident happened Tuesday afternoon outside of Santa Paula. Investigators say the driver of the van was trying to turn from southbound Cummings Road onto Telegraph Road, but pulled into the path of an oncoming school bus.

The collision caused the oncoming bus to careen into another bus, which happened to be stopped at the time. The driver of the van, along with two kids were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
