Central Coast Man Sought After Confrontation With Man; Police Say He Threatened Them With Explosives

Authorities are looking for a man on the Central Coast they say threatened police with a knife, and a homemade explosive device.  Police were called to a home on the 100 block of Foothill Boulevard in San Luis Obispo Sunday night by reports of a disturbance.   Some residents of an apartment complex report a man was banging on their doors and trying to break into their homes.

Officers found Bradford Jungers outside the complex, and say he threatened them with a knife.  The 35-year-old man fled into one of the apartments.  Officers say he threatened them again, this time with a homemade explosive device.

Police backed off and called a SWAT team, but by the time it reached the scene the man had fled out a back door.
