Central Coast Bus System Reports Service Disrupted By Coronavirus Now Restored

A Central Coast bus system reports that for the first time since the start of the coronavirus crisis, it’s returned to providing full service.

In March, Santa Ynez Valley Transit stopped regular bus service, and cut operations to its Dial-A-Ride transportation.  The transit agency serving Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez, and Los Olivos then began in a phased-in resumption of regular operations.

But, a number of coronavirus safety measures are in place.  They include blocking off every other seat in busses to ensure social distancing occurs.  All drivers and riders are required to wear masks.  And, busses undergo extensive daily cleaning.
