Central Coast Airport Getting New Airline Service

The Central Coast is getting some new airline service. United Airlines announced it will launch daily service out of Santa Maria Airport to Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

United will be the second airline serving the community. Allegant currently flies from Santa Maria to Las Vegas. The new United flights are scheduled to begin in June.

This is the latest event in a boom in airline service for the region. Santa Barbara Airport and San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport have added a number of flights during the last few years.
