California Strawberry Festival Expected To Bring Tens Of Thousands To Oxnard

Tens of thousands of visitors are expected in Ventura County this weekend for a festival celebrating all things strawberry. The 36th annual California Strawberry Festival is taking place in Oxnard.

The event at College Park celebrates the fruit’s important role as a crop in the community. There’s live entertainment, crafts, and of course lots of treats made with strawberries. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Because of heavy traffic around the park, there is free shuttle service. Pickup locations include the Topa Financial Towers off Highway 101 in Oxnard, and the Camarillo Premium Outlets in Camarillo.
