Boys & Girls Clubs On South Coast Expand Operations To Help Families During Coronavirus Crisis

Some Boys and Girls Clubs on the South Coast have stepped up to help families in need of child care because of the coronavirus crisis. The Boys And Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley expanded the number of open centers from two to four.

They now have centers operating at Colina Middle School, Los Cerritos Middle School, and Redwood Middle School in Thousand Oaks, as well as Sequoia Middle School in Newbury Park. The clubs are serving kids between 5 and 13 years old.

The effort is geared towards working parents struggling to deal with daycare following the closure of schools.
