Authorities have identified a woman who was fatally stabbed in Ventura County. Zaria Patino died in the as a result of the attack in Simi Valley last week. Simi Valley Police arrested Euren Balbuena at the scene. Detectives say he was the victim’s boyfriend.
They think a domestic dispute sparked the attack. Balbuena has been charged with murder, along with a special allegation that he used a knife during the commission of the crime.
He’s also accused of attacking the victim’s mother, who suffered serious injuries during the incident.
