Arrests Made For Double Shooting In Ventura County Over Holidays

Two men have been arrested for a double shooting over the holidays in Ventura County.  Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives say on December 27th, two men were shot on Lomita Street in Camarillo. 

One man was shot several times as a sat in a car, and the second was wounded as he tried to flee from the vehicle.  Fortunately, the wounded men are expected to recover from their injuries.

Detective say they identified Juan David Cervantes, and Jose Adrian Rivera of Camarillo as suspects.  Rivera was arrested without incident at a Camarillo home.  Cervantes was arrested in San Ysidro, while on a bus headed to Mexico. 

Both men are facing a variety of charges ranging from assault with a firearm to participation in street gang activities.
