America's cartoonists unite to help victims of recent disasters

Many of America’s favorite cartoonists joined forces on Thanksgiving to dedicate their strips to awareness about the ongoing impacts of the major disasters which have hit the United States in the last few months.

Now, original signed versions of the strips are being auctioned to benefit a Santa Barbara County based non-profit’s efforts to help the hurricane and Northern California fire victims.

Tony Morain is with Direct Relief International, which is helping disaster victims with things like medical supplies and personal care items.

The bidding for the comic strips online at with Heritage Auctions, at HA.com, ends Thursday.
