Agency Which Oversees Thousands Of Acres Of Open Space On South Coast Has New Administrator

An agency which oversees more than 15,000 acres of open space in Ventura County has a new top executive.

Brian Stark is the new Administrator of the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency.  Stark has worked with a number of land preservation groups on the Central and South Coasts, and was most recently Executive Director of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy.

The four decade old City of Thousand Oaks agency is charged with protecting the land under its jurisdiction in the Conejo Valley, as well as making it as accessible as possible for the public.

Lance Orozco has been News Director of KCLU since 2001, providing award-winning coverage of some of the biggest news events in the region, including the Thomas and Woolsey brush fires, the deadly Montecito debris flow, the Borderline Bar and Grill attack, and Ronald Reagan's funeral.
