Actress Heather Locklear Pleads No Contest To Criminal Charges In Ventura County; No Jail Expected

An actress known for her roles in the TV shows “Melrose Place” and “Spin City” apparently won’t be going to jail for charges she faced for a confrontation with Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies. Heather Locklear entered no contest pleas to eight misdemeanor counts stemming from a pair of incidents involving first responders.

The charges included five counts of battery on a peace officer. Locklear received a 120 day county jail sentence, but that was suspended pending successful completion of a residential treatment program for substance abuse. The 57 year old Westlake Village resident was also placed on three years summary probation.
