Accountant For Ventura County Non-Profit Accused Of Embezzlement

A woman who was a volunteer accountant with a Ventura County non-profit was arrested, after Ventura County Sheriff's detectives say she embezzled more than $60,000.

Mandi Neece worked for Camarillo based Topa Topa Antique Engine and Tractor Company.

Investigators say during a six month period this year, the San Fernando valley woman used some of the non-profit's money to buy things like Dodger tickets and hotel stays.

They say by the time the issue was discovered, she had spent all of the nearly $63,000 she had embezzled.
