A Ventura County man is facing a number of criminal charges after prosecutors say he used social media to befriend young girls, and then have sex with them.
Ventura County Sheriff's detectives say they started investigating Raul Garcia of Thousand Oaks after receiving a tip from a school resource officer about a teen getting some explicit pictures. They say they've identified four victims between 12 and 15 years old, and think it's possible there are more.
They say he would exchange sexually explicit photos with the girls, meet with them, and in some cases sexually assault them. The 26 year old is currently facing a half dozen charges, with more possible.
