Ventura County Takes New Step To Help Local Businesses Hit By Coronavirus
Ventura County is taking a new step to try to help businesses cope with the financial impacts of coronavirus.
The county is going to reduce, or wave a number of its fees. The Ventura County Fire Department will also wave some of its inspection fees.
The reductions are focused on business in Ventura County which have annual revenue between $25,000 and $2 million dollars, and can show they have been negatively impacted by coronavirus.
Businesses must apply online through the county’s website, with priority given to those which didn’t receive Small Business Administration assistance. It’s expected that businesses will receive about $1.6 million dollars in relief through the new program.
