Small Earthquake Rocks Parts Of South Coast

A small earthquake jolted some South Coast residents away early Sunday morning.

The magnitude 3.3 quake hit at 1:34 a.m.  It was centered in the Los Padres National Forest about eight miles northeast of Carpinteria.

Hundreds of people reported feeling the quake.  No one was hurt, and no damage was reported.
