One Ventura County Supervisorial Seat Headed To Runoff; Two Others Have Clear Winners

One Ventura County supervisorial seat is headed towards a runoff, but there are clear cut winners in two other races. Oxnard Mayor Tim Flynn and Oxnard City Council Member Carmen Ramirez will face each other in November for the Fifth District seat. Flynn received 32% of the vote and Ramirez 26%. In Ventura County’s First District, current Ventura Mayor Matt LaVere received 60% of the vote to avoid a runoff and win outright. In the Third Supervisorial District, incumbent Kelly Long won re-election with 58% of the vote.
