A Ventura County woman is hoping to find a community campaign will lead to a life-saving kidney transplant.
Jill Abele of Simi Valley needs the transplant.
Someone who knows firsthand about kidney transplants his helping to lead the "Team Jill" campaign. In 2016, Simi Valley restaurant owner Tony Falato needed a kidney. Fellow Rotarian Rocky Rhodes donated one of his kidneys.
Falato is helping to spearhead this new campaign, which includes eveything from a Facebook drive to a kidney phone hotline.
