Rain Possible For Holiday Weekend On Central, South Coasts

A late spring storm is going to bring the chance of rain for the Central and South Coasts for much of the Memorial Day weekend. Meteorologists say there’s no threat to the region’s brush fire burn areas. But the upper level low means we could see mostly cloudy conditions Saturday and Sunday.

The best chance of rain is on Sunday, with up to a half inch of rainfall possible. We could also see thunderstorms in Santa Barbara and Ventura County mountain areas.

There will be some clearing for Memorial Day, but temperatures will be below average throughout the holiday weekend.
