Ventura County, City Of Ventura Issue Mandatory, Voluntary Evacuation Orders With Storm On The Way

Ventura County has issued a number a number of mandatory and voluntary evacuation orders as a result of the major storm on the way.  The mandatory orders as of noon Tuesday include:

Matilija Canyon (North of Ojai Valley); North Fork (North of Ojai Valley); Vista Fire Burn Area (South end of Ojai Valley); Nye Road, West of Hwy 33; Nye Road East of Hwy 33; La Conchita

Voluntary evacuations will also take effect in the following areas on March 20, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.: Casitas Pass Road / East: Santa Ana Road / West: Rincon Road Ojai Road / East: Thomas Aquinas / West: Reeves Road Ojai Road / North: Thomas Aquinas / South: Bridge Road East Ojai / West: Gridley Road / East: Reeves Road

Meanwhile, the City of Ventura has issued a number of voluntary evacuation orders also taking effect at noon Tuesday:

Westside: All areas East of Wall Street, East of Cedar Street, East of Cameron Street

Downtown Neighborhoods: North of Poli Street from Cedar to Kalorama Drive (Includes Holy Cross School)

Midtown Neighborhoods: Generally North of Poli Street from Kalorama Drive to Aliso Lane, South to Main Street east to Lincoln, north to Poli Street east to Agnus Drive (Includes Ventura High School)

Midtown Neighborhoods: Agnus Drive south to Loma Vista Street east to Shamrock Drive, North to Foothill Road (Includes Loma Vista School) East end Neighborhoods: East of Appian Way/Court Avenue to Ashwood Avenue north of Telegraph Road All areas North of Pomona Street/Beckford Street/Albion to Victoria Avenue All Areas North of Foothill Road from Victoria Avenue to Kimball Road
