A more than year long investigation into a drug dealing ring on the Central Coast with ties to Mexico has led to nine arrests, with five more people still being sought.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s narcotics detectives discovered evidence of a large scale operation in the region in November of 2016. They say it was part of an operation with cells dealing methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine throughout the U.S.
Detectives worked with the DEA, Homeland Security, plus the Ventura, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Offices during the investigation.
A million dollars worth of drugs was seized on the Central Coast, and another half million dollars worth in Los Angeles County.
