Two Young Women Killed In Santa Barbara County Car Crash From Ventura County

Two young women from Ventura County are being identified as the people killed in a car crash in Santa Barbara County which also left three other injured.

A car plunged off of Gibraltar Road in the mountains northwest of Montecito Monday night, tumbling 300 feet down a steep embankment.

17 year old Lily Brennan and 19 year old Lesli Nunez of Ventura were pronounced dead at the scene. The three other people in the car were injured.

CHP investigators say the driver, Brandon Woodard of Ventura, lost control of the vehicle leading to the crash. They say the 19 year old was arrested on a DUI charge.
