Star-Studded International Film Festival Opens On South Coast Tonight
The 32nd annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival opens up tonight at the Arlington Theater for ten days.
There are 200 films, over 50 U.S. and world premieres, a number of Oscar nominees including Denzel Washington, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, and local favorite Jeff Bridges.
The stars will all be part of the festival's tribute nights.
The film festival lineup also includes many films about current issues, including social injustice. There will also be many films free to adults, families and schoolchildren.
Santa Barbara Film Festival has proven itself to be a strong off-season economic boost for the area.
