Detectives Say They Arrested Ventura County Serial Vandal Who Challenged Them To Find Him
Detectives say a vandal targeting everything from parks, to stores in Ventura County is probably now regretting that he challenged police to find, and arrest him.
During the last month, everything from a church to fast food restaurants were hit by graffiti vandalism in the Ojai Valley. Many of the tags included special taunts at law enforcement, saying things like “catch me if you can.”
This week, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office detectives used surveillance video to identify Aaron Riis-Vestergaard as the vandal. They say the 20 year old Ojai man confessed after being arrested.
