One Dead, Two Wounded Following Attack In Ventura County

Detectives are still trying to sort out what led to a triple shooting in Ventura County which left one man dead, and two others wounded.  It happened in Santa Paula Saturday night.

Police were called to the 200 block of East Ventura Avenue just after 10 p.m.  They found one man who was dead at the scene, and a second who was seriously wounded.  A third victim was gone by the time officers reached the scene, but turned up at Santa Paula Hospital.

Investigators say they don’t know what led to the shootings, and are looking for possible witnesses.
