The Central and South Coasts had the lowest one-day total of new COVID-19 cases in the region in months Wednesday.

352 cases were reported in the three counties.  Ventura County had 155, Santa Barbara County 147, and San Luis Obispo County just 50.

It brings the total in the Tri-Counties since the start of the pandemic to just over 123,200 cases.

Now, the discouraging news.  25 additional COVID-19 related deaths were reported locally Wednesday.  There were 13 in Ventura County, 10 in Santa Barbara County and two in San Luis Obispo County.

Breaking it down by county, Ventura County has had 696 deaths, Santa Barbara County 358, and San Luis Obispo County 202.  It brings the total to 1256 deaths since the first cases were discovered in the region nearly a year ago.
