The number of new COVID-19 cases on the Central and South Coasts continues to be on the lower end of the scale we’ve seen for the last few months.  Ventura County had 413, Santa Barbara County 181, and San Luis Obispo County 151 Tuesday.  The latest numbers push the region’s confirmed case total since the start of the pandemic to more than 118,000 people.

17 additional coronavirus related deaths were reported in the three counties Tuesday.  Ventura County had 11, Santa Barbara County five, and San Luis Obispo County one.

The breakdown by counties includes 629 in Ventura County, 303 in Santa Barbara County and 178 in San Luis Obispo County.

As we approach the year mark of the first cases reported in the Tri-Counties, we’ve now had 1110 deaths connected to the virus.
