Coronavirus Crisis Prompts Service Changes, Program Cancellations In South Coast City

One South Coast community has announced a number of major changes to Services and city sponsored programs as a result of the coronavirus crisis. The City of Camarillo has dropped all fares on its fixed route bus service during the state of emergency. It will also temporarily offer Dial-A-Ride Service for seniors and those with disabilities for free.

But, as of Monday, Dial-A-Ride service to the general public will be suspended. The Camarillo Public Library and the historic Camarillo Ranch remain closed to the public indefinitely. And, the city has cancelled its annual summer concert series, as well as its Fourth of July show for 2020.
