The show benefits the Grace Fisher Foundation and its mission of bringing adaptive art, music and dance programs to children and young adults with disabilities.

Grace, 24, contracted a virus when she was in her senior year at high school that spread to her spine, which left her paralyzed from the neck down.

Since then she has dedicated herself to finding enlightenment and inspiring others through art and music.

It's the 5th time she's spearheaded the concert, which takes place at the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara and raises money for the Grace Fisher Foundation.

"It’s not just a concert, it’s definitely for a purpose," Fisher told KCLU.

"Just because I can’t move my limbs I think – I don’t think, I know, there’s so much more that I can do," Fisher said.

The 5th Annual Winter Music Showcase takes place on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Granada Theatre.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online here.

Caroline joined KCLU in October 2020. She won LA Press Club's Audio Journalist of the Year Award for three consecutive years in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Since joining the station she's also won 11 Golden Mike Awards, 8 Los Angeles Press Club Journalism Awards, 4 National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards and three Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for Excellence in Writing, Diversity and Use of Sound.

She started her broadcasting career in the UK, in both radio and television for BBC News, 95.8 Capital FM and Sky News and was awarded by Prince Philip for her services to radio and journalism in 2007.

She has lived in California for twelve years and is both an American and British citizen - and a very proud mom to her daughter, Elsie.
