Two Dogs Rescued From Fire In South Coast Home
A fire near Carpinteria Tuesday morning damaged a home, while two dogs on the property were rescued.
The home near Toro Canyon was empty at the time, when housekeepers found the fire and called 911.
Both dogs were rescued as firefighters arrived at the end of the private dirt road leading to the house.
The fire was both inside the house, and coming out of the roof when firefighters began setting up and pulling their hoses.
Firefighters stopped the conflagration quickly, no one was hurt, and the cause is now under investigation.
