Toddler Rescued From Near-Drowning At South Coast Wharf

A two-year-old boy that apparently was able to get out of sight of his parents was found nearly drowned Sunday night.

Paramedics and the harbor patrol arrived quickly at the scene near Stearn's Wharf in Santa Barbara.

The child, found face-down and unresponsive at first, was revived.

The boy was then taken to Santa Barbara's Cottage Hospital.

His condition is unknown.

The circumstances of the near-drowning are being investigated by Santa Barbara Police.
