Roughly six years ago, Cindy Miller's Pomeranian was reported stolen.
She had her dog, Chili, with a pet-sitter near her home in Northern California while she was out of town.
She had no luck finding Chili when she got back, even after extensive door-to-door efforts and posting flyers in her neighborhood.
Two years ago, Miller moved to Santa Barbara, but she never lost hope.
Then, she received a call that Chili was found wandering 30 miles from their old home in poor health.
A veterinarian called her because Chilly had a microchip attached years ago used to get Miller's information.
Chilly is now in Santa Barbara, healthy and with his owner again.
