Wiedman's Words Transforming a Troubled World

Novelist John Edgar Wideman has spent his career parsing out notions of race and what it means to the world.

His latest novel, Fanon, centers on Franz Fanon — a revolutionary psychoanalyst and author — who was one of the first to identify the racism as a sickness.
